Brightwaters & Beyond is a short film festival that began in 2025 at Wohseepee Park in Brightwater, Connecticut. The first event brought together friends, family, and filmmakers to share their stories on screen. What started as a single night of local film and laughter has grown into a community rooted in creativity, connection, and the love of cinema.

Our mission is to give emerging filmmakers a space to share their work, spark conversation, and build genuine community. We believe storytelling has the power to connect, inspire, and remind us how creativity thrives when shared.
